Day 1: Arrival and Kigali city tour
having cleared with the customs department at Kigali International airport, meet your driver guide for a short transfer to the hotel to check in and have breakfast. spend the rest of day exploring the busy Kigali city. Visit iconic places like the Kigali genocide memorial site, Kimironko market, and a relaxed evening at the convention center.

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes national park, Ibyiwacu cultural visit & the twin lakes
After an early morning break fast, embark on a 2.5 hrs scenic drive through the undulating hills of Rwanda from where the country derives its name as “the land of a thousand hills”. On arrival in Musanze, visit the Ibyiwachu cultural centre to learn about Rwanda’s cultural history, and tradition. From here check into the accommodation for lunch. In the afternoon go for a relaxation boat cruise on the twin lakes. Enjoy photography and scenic views of the beautiful surrounding areas.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking and transfer to Kigali
Gorilla trekking in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park is a remarkable experience, beyond any other wildlife encounter. Meeting a gorilla family in their natural habitat, led by a dominating male silverback and females and young ones, is a natural adventure that fully repays the investment in unforgettable memories and photographs.
Gorilla trekking starts at Kinigi park centre where yo enjoy the customary Intore performance before , a hot cup of coffee and the briefing aout the activity. After the briefing, link to the trailheads to begin your gorilla trekking experience. The hike takes two to six hours including an hour of gorilla watching and amazing photo ops. Time length depends on the location of the gorilla group.
After the activity, return and spend the night in Kigali.
Day4: Flight to Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Arusha
From Kigali international airport, fly to Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro International airport where you will meet our representative to welcome you and later transfer to arusha where you will spend the rest of the day.

Day 5: Game drive in Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic 2-hour leisurely drive to Tarangire national park for a game drive.
Tarangire national park has the highest population of elephant herds, approximately 3000 elephants. These can be seen at all times of the year. The Elephant herds together with other animals like antelopes, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and gazelles are often spotted at the banks of Tarangire river. the dry season is so spectacular with sights of over 550 species including several bird species. You will have a picnic lunch and devote the afternoon for more wildlife spotting and watching.

Day 6: Transfer to Serengeti national park- Afternoon game drive
The drive to Serengeti is a bit lengthy but with clear views of the Ngorongoro crater highlands. As the name states, Serengeti is a derived from a Maasai word ‘Siringitu’ meaning “endless plains”. It’s a vast area covered by savanna grasslands and some parts dotted with acacia woodlands and rocky outcrops known as kopjes, pans and lakes. it is one of Tanzania’s most sought-after safari destinations known for its abundant wildlife species. Some of this park habitats include lion, buffalo, impala, hippo, waterbuck, elephant, cheetah, leopard and other game species – not forgetting the more than 400 bird species.
Spend the afternoon searching for wildlife, later drive to the camp for dinner and over night.

Day 7: Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater rim
Dedicate the entire day to searching for the habitat of this vast park. If its time for the great- wildebeest migration, watch and enjoy this massive wildlife phenomena. the migration depends on the season. after a full day of exploration, drive towards the Ngorongoro crater rim where you will head to the camp for the night.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater, transfer to Kilimanjaro airport and departure
After breaking fast, drive in the Ngorongoro crater for 3-4 hours for game viewing. The Ngorongoro crater is world’s largest caldera and ais one of the seven wonders of the world and a popular geological site in Africa.
During the game drive, search for the big five (lion, leopard, cape buffalo, elephant and rhino). You will see more animals in this area up close than in Serengeti.
Depending on your flight time, proceed to Kilimanjaro Airport to return home.
