Bwindi Forest National Park is situated in the elevated regions of the Kigezi Highlands that were formed due to up warping of the Western Rift Valley. The park comprises of adjoined Rivers, Steep Hills at an altitude of 1,190 to 2,607 metres (3,900 to 8,553 ft), with Rwamunyonyi hill elevating to heights along the eastern boundary of the park. The forest is the source of many rivers that flow to the north, west, and south and these include; Ivi, Munyaga, Ihihizo, Ishasha, and Ntengyere rivers, which flow into Lake Edward

By Air
