Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Day 2 of 6 Days Rwanda and Uganda Gorillas trekking & Dian Fossey Tour, have breakfast, then continue to the park head quarters for short briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas.  You are distributed into groups of 8 with a park ranger who leads you into the green forest tracking the Gorillas for 3-5 hours. When you meet them, an hour is allowed in their presence to take photos. Dinner and Overnight at Ingagi Park View Volcanoes Lodge.

Day 3: Dian Fossey Hike  

Enjoy breakfast then transfer to the Dian Fossey Center situated along the slopes of Mountain Bisoke Volcano. After briefing you reach the Karisoke Research Center where you are informed on the work of Dian Fossey who sacrificed her life to save the lives of the Mountain Gorillas that were hunted illegally and killed at the time. After Dian Fossey Adventure, you proceed back to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Ingagi Park View Volcanoes Lodge.

Day 4: Traverse to Bwindi Forest National Park (Ruhija)

Breakfast and embark to traverse into Uganda via the Cyanika/Katuna border with lunch en-route. After a while you reach the park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Ruhija Community Rest Camp.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park (Ruhija)

Enjoy breakfast then transfer to the park head quarters for short briefing on conduct around Mount Gorillas. After transfer with a park ranger, guide in groups of 8 and trek to the Gorillas for 3-5 hours. Finally you meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence taking photos to keep. After Gorilla Trekking, go back to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Ruhija Community Rest Camp.

Day 6: Depart to Kampala/ Entebbe

Enjoy breakfast and later depart to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport to board your flight home, this marks the end of 6 Days Rwanda and Uganda Gorillas trekking  & Dian Fossey Tour
