Things to do along the Congo Nile Trail: The Congo Nile Trail is a 227-kilometer path that begins in Gisenyi, on northern shores and ends in Rusizi District, the southern shores of lake Kivu. The route was named after a landmark/watershed that divides the Nile and Congo rivers; this trail does not actually cross to Congo or even getting close to the Nile.
