Detailed itinerary for 1 day hiking mount bisoke
During your 1 day hiking mount bisoke, an English-speaking driver guide will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you for a briefing and hiking registration at Kinigi Park headquarters at 7:00 am in Volcanoes National Park; normally, it takes 30 minutes accompanied by a cup of coffee. The starting point is away from the briefing point, so it requires a driver guide to take you through the rocky and muddy terrain. Hiking up to the summit normally takes 6 hours with help from the porters and ranger guides with walking sticks. The hike typically includes various knowledgeable guides who provide comprehensive information about Mt. Bisoke.
The porters assist in transporting various items such as bags, water, snacks, and day packs. In the event of a snag during the trek, these porters assist in escorting the tourists, providing them with the opportunity to observe the mountain gorillas in their shelters, thereby enhancing the experience of the hike. Spectacular views of the crater lakes greet you upon arrival at the summit, and the climate remains consistently friendly. The mist constantly moves through, but it eventually clears, giving tourists the opportunity to capture a variety of photographs and record various videos. After the hike, tourists head down and have their lunch, then continue to Kigali.
