In the early morning you will leave Kigali at about 5 am to Akagera national park which is about 2 hours away from Kigali. Akagera national park is majorly a Savannah park and you will have a game drive towards the northern part of the park offering you opportunities of sighting wildlife like; Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Impalas, Waterbucks, Rhinos, elusive leopards and recently introduced Lions. You will arrive at the park from the southern gate to the park offices for a short briefing about the park and your day will be spent in the northern sector of the park which hosts much wildlife because of the landscape and vegetation.
