A DETAILED ITINERARY FOR YOUR 6 DAYS TARANGIRE, SERENGETI AND NGORONGORO CRATER.
Day 1: Pick up from Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Upon your arrival at Arusha international airport, you will meet up with our guide. He will then give you a briefing about your 6 day trip to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
From the airport you will head up to Tarangire which is one of Tanzania’s magnificent parks, enjoy a picnic lunch during your game drive as you spot a variety of attractions such as the elephants, leopards, baobab trees, and many more during the game drive.
Day 2: Transfer to Central Serengeti National Park.
Very early in the morning, you will enjoy your breakfast and then do a morning game drive with in Tarangire national park.
A morning game drive in Tarangire helps you to see a variety of animals and then after prepare to transfer to Central Serengeti National Park.
Serengeti National Park is one of the most stunning wildlife sanctuaries in the world. If you have a chance and you visit during the wildebeest migration, you can view the zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, lions and many more.
You will then proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 3 & Day 4: Full day – Central Serengeti.
Day 3 immerses you in exploring Serengeti National Park. Early in the morning, you will do a morning game drive, then after returning to the lodge, enjoy breakfast and later in the afternoon prepare to go back and still do a game drive.
Or You can have breakfast in the morning and then go for your full day game drive with packed lunch. Later in the afternoon, return to your lodge.
Days 3 & 4 will help you to fully explore various sections of Serengeti National Park like the Seronera area. The Seronera area is a habitat to the river which attracts a lot of wildlife. Expect to see a pride of lions that thrive in this area. In the evening, you will return to your lodge enjoy dinner and then rest.
Day 5: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater.
Wake up in the morning, have breakfast and then go for your morning game drive in Serengeti national park, here view scenic views of the surrounding and also wildlife. After the game drive, depart to Ngorongoro conservation area.
The Ngorongoro crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world. This area is among the must-see destinations while on a safari in Tanzania. It is composed of over 30000 animals and also scenic views of the surrounding area.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Arusha.
Day 6 is the last day of your safari and this means that you will be exploring Ngorongoro crater to the fullest and then transfer to Arusha.
Explore the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest in an active volcano. The game drive within the crater can last approximately 5 hours.
Some of the animals to see include Hippos, African elephants, black rhinos, hyenas, cheetahs, lions and many more.
You can also enjoy a picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool. After enjoying and discovering the ultimate attractions of Ngorongoro, you will transfer to Arusha and your trip will have ended.
