On the first day of 5 days Rwanda gorillas trek and Akagera wildlife safaris, at the time of your arrival at the International Airport in Kigali, a representative of our firm will be there to meet and greet you. You will then be transferred to Akagera National Park after the encounter has concluded. After checking in, grab some lunch and then spend the afternoon on a boat ride around Lake Ihema, where you may see a variety of aquatic animals and birds, including crocodiles, hippopotamuses, shoebill storks, and African fish eagles. You will go on a game drive in the morning after breakfast in search of predators and early risers including lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, impala, oribi, bushbuck, antelope, zebra, cape land, giraffe, and countless more. After lunch, head back to the lodge for an afternoon boat ride along the River Akagera and the surrounding lakes, where you may see a variety of birds and animals that inhabit the area and feed on the water. You will be driven to Ruhengeri town, which is close to Volcanoes National Park, after breakfast. When you get there, take a quick tour of the town and stop at the marketplace. Day 4: Volcanoes National Park gorilla tracking
To register and be assigned a gorilla group, you must report to the park headquarters after breakfast. Your ranger guide will advise you on the regulations of gorillas before leading you into the jungle to find these majestic creatures. While searching for gorillas on foot in the verdant valleys and hills of Volcano Virunga might be a physically demanding ordeal, the experience will be well worth it once you lay eyes on these majestic creatures. After you meet the gorillas, you’ll get to spend an hour with them, during which time you’ll have plenty of chances to snap pictures. After your Gorilla Trek, you’ll be transferred back to your resort for some rest, bringing with you memories of your adventure.
