Upon leaving Entebbe, guests are expected to drive for 5-6 hours to Kibale Forest National Park, where you will spend two nights  

The following day, you’ll get up early to accompany the local trackers and rangers for a 3–5-hour chimpanzee walk. Once you’ve located the chimps, the rangers will lead you through an hours of viewing their social rituals and hunting excursions in the beautiful rainforest.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (three nights)
Following your stay in Kibale, you will be taken to Kasese Airport, which is approximately two hours away. You will next take a bush flight over the lovely countryside of southwestern Uganda to Kisoro Airport. The travel from the airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes two hours. When you arrive, you’ll check into the Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, where you’ll stay for three nights. The lodge provides stunning views and a genuine connection to the wild.

 

Early the next morning, you’ll accompany skilled rangers and a tracker on a gorilla trekking expedition to the dense bush in search of a habituated gorilla family. The uneven, damp, and steep terrain may make the walk both physically and emotionally difficult. When you find the mountain gorillas, you’ll spend an hour studying them from a close distance while they dine and socialize. Gorillas are kind and captivating creatures, and this experience will undoubtedly leave an indelible impression.

 

On the second day in Bwindi, your guide will take you on a leisurely cultural forest stroll with the Batwa people. Prior to its designation as a national park, this pygmy group lived in the rainforest. The Batwa people will present their home cultures and provide insight into their everyday lives, cultural customs, and interactions with great apes of Africa
