Day 1:Pickup – Kigali city tour – transfer to the park
You will be met at an agreed place in Kigali, either at the airport or hotel, after breakfast, go for a brief city tour visiting a few places in the city like the Kigali genocide memorial site, the bustling Kimironko Market, and the Caplaki craft village.
After lunch embark on a 2-hour drive to the eastern part of the country to Akagera National Park. on arrival, check into the accommodation for relaxation.
An optional activity on this day can be a night game drive in the park.

Day 2:Full day game drive
On this day, get up so early in the morning with a packed breakfast and lunch. Reach out into the park with your driver guide to try spotting some nocturnal animals as they return to their hideouts. Find some convenient spot and have breakfast after the early morning drive then later proceed with your adventure. The park has several trails where you will encounter several wildlife like elephants, lions, rhinos, and many other animals. After lunch, switch to another sector of the park for more wildlife viewing especially those you may have missed earlier. Return to the accommodation before dawn and relax as you meditate on the day’s experience.

Day 3:Morning boat trip and transfer to Kigali.
On this last day of your safari, wake up at your leisure, have breakfast, and go for a morning boat cruise on Lake Ihema. Drop off at your hotel or airport.
